What is Empower Beauty?
Empower Beauty is a non-profit organization whose goal is to uplift and encourage women of all ages to be who they are created to be. Through educational workshops focused on self-worth and inner beauty, our goal is to remind women of all ages, especially teen girls, that they are uniquely and wonderfully made just the way they are. During the workshops we will be teaching participants through a series of activities, broad age-appropriate makeup lessons and motivational speakers. The women/teens that come to our events will leave with tips and tools to create positive space in their lives. We want to provide them with ways to accomplish their goals, grow in confidence and be a positive influencer in todays ever-changing world. Through our workshops, Empower Beauty's mission is to touch the lives of women, redefine what beauty is, instill confidence and challenge each one to be bold and know that they are beautiful. And they are enough.
Who do we reach? Our focus at this time is to reach middle and high school aged girls. We plan on expanding to offer workshops to adult women in the future.
Hello, my name is Evelyn!
I have been a Makeup Artist in the Pacific Northwest for over a decade. I am the founder of Empower Beauty Inc, an organization focused on uplifting and encouraging teenage girls to be confident in who they were made to be. I love helping others feel beautiful from within, whether by pampering them in the makeup chair or hosting workshops for teen girls. Truly at the end of the day, I am fired up with passion when given a chance to remind any teen they are enough, they are worthy, and help them unleash their authentic beauty. I have been happily married for ten years and have two amazing boys. I absolutely love being active and enjoy exploring our beautiful outdoors. I love surfing, hiking, snowmobiling, swimming, watching my boys play their sports, and singing. Thank you so much for visiting my website today, and I hope to meet you at an event in the future!
My WHY
Find what breaks your heart, then create a solution. For me it is how teens view themselves and the chain reaction that follows the lies they start believing. I wanted to create a positive space, a moment in time where they would feel wanted, seen and loved. A time where they are reminded that no matter what the past holds, they have the power to choose to move towards the light. To give them tools to stick in their back pocket to navigate this world. What if we can empower these young teens enough, so they can empower each other? When they are confident in who they are they will move mountains. Our youth deserve to know who they truly are without waiting to grow up and find their identity.
